The lion roars in with its fullness, look at the mane around the moon. The Leo full moon has an intense energetic field. Use it wisely, not frivolously on self pleasures; Indulging, as Leo’s vanity might lead you to with his “I am worth it” attitude shopping bags in hand new expensive bouffant hairdo. The notion that we can really feel better about ourselves by buying something or changing our appearance is false and dangerous, and unfortunately is a large part of the belief system of a consumerist society

We all have great personal power and this full moon reminds us: we must learn to use it judiciously. Also called the Hunger moon and the Wolf moon, February’s full moon reminds of life’s basic desires: food, shelter and reproduction. If you are creative, now is the time to be inspired, don’t waste it, pounce on those ideas and bring them to fruition. There will also be a strong surge of sexual energy or a sudden, intense attraction to a new activity or undertaking. Upwelling and amplified desires abound.

The eclipse will keep that intense Leo ego in check this time around. The energy of the moon can be put to good use if you can find an open channel for reciprocal generosity and reciprocal appreciation. If you focus on a relationship where the flow is one-way, you’ll likely be burned in this heat.
